Day 6
Photo:
Drawing: (Christopher from the Future going crazy in space)
Poem:
Deeper and deeper into outer space I go
My mind is drifting further from sanity I know
Staring into the endless field of stars
I ask them where they've been, have they traveled far
I am spinning in my head to a different world
My eyes are filled with visions of clouds and swirls
Forever I am trapped in a never ending day
And when I open my eyes I hope it all goes away...

Day 5
Photo:
Drawing:
I saw this "caricature maker" image of my facebook friend, Shaina and was thinking that I could do something a bit less mechanic. I gave her unintentional googly eyes, but whatever.
Poem:
Waking up in someone's bed
Disoriented in the head
Where are my clothes
Where is my phone
Well, at least I'm not alone.

Day 3
This is what I use to make creative music about robots and space.
I drew my car air conditioner before work because I arrived early.
Poem:
Rush hour traffic is a mystery to me
One minute I'm stopped, the next I'm driving eighty
One wonders what happens during those intervals of time
While the brain in my skull is surely and slowly dying

Day 2
I liked the white rose against the white paper.
Today, I started thinking about the Winter Olympics and decided to try to draw Shawn White. I ended up messing up the body, so I just stopped with the head.
Today's Poem:
Life is like a day on Let's Make A Deal
Give up the life that you know, to see which door you reveal
Door 1 leads to life, Door 2 leads to death,
While door three leads to whatever else there is left
Disguised as a chicken or dressed up like a clown
What you gave up is usually better than what you found
Choose wisely in life by don't wait too long,
Your time comes to an end with the sound of a gong...
Or is that a different show?

First Posting
The purpose of this blog is to continue creating art everyday no matter how busy I become. By setting the goal of creating one of each item, I will have no excuse, but to man up and create. Whether it is something simple and uninspired or creative and epic, I am challenging myself to daily post one of each.
The first photo is an arrangement of three bottles on the counter unintentionally aligned by my roommate.

The first drawing is a 10 minute quick sketch of my girlfriend Jamie.
The first poem is a haiku...
The autumn is here
In come the clouds and the wind
Where did summer go?
